A new bathroom and taking Mauritius holidays for some interesting items

As it is a room that many of us like to spend a fair amount of time in, it is surprising how uninventive many of us can be when it comes to decorating our bathrooms. There are certain things that everybody needs of course such as a toilet, basin and a bath, but there is much more that you can do to make the room more interesting. If you are going on holiday this year, then you could have a look around the local markets and buildings to give yourself some inspiration for what to do with your bathroom when you get home. You may also be able to pick up some ornaments that will go well in the room. On Mauritius holidays you will find many examples of model ships and boats, not surprisingly for an island nation.

Textiles are another popular buy here and you could pick up an unusual rug for your bathroom during your stay. There are plenty of other things to do here of course and a very interesting blend of cultures to explore, with Creole, Chinese and Indian influences among others. You may well find that you are full of new ideas after you have had a look around. A tropical feel to your bathroom will be a nice reminder of the time you spent here as well as bringing a relaxing atmosphere to the room. Seashells are easy to collect on the lovely beaches and look great on shelves in the bathroom too.
